JUBICARE PROJECT
To enhance healthcare access for the rural communities of Nanjangud, JBF has established the JBF Medical Centre in Kallahalli and Debur villages. The neighbouring villages are also benefitted from these two medical centres.
JBF successfully provided healthcare services to 1,104 patients last month.

AWARENESS SESSION ON SANITATION AND HYGIENE
A health awareness session focusing on the sanitation and hygiene program was conducted at GHPS Chamlapurahundi and Sujathapuram. The JBF organised this initiative as part of its monthly health awareness efforts on June 26th and 27th respectively. During the session, Ms. Sindhura BN, a staff nurse, addressed the concepts of sanitation, the transmission of diseases due to unhygienic practices, and preventive measures to combat these diseases. Ms. Rajeshwari, Head Mistress of GHPS Chamalapurahundi, Mr. Srikanth, Assistant Teacher, Ms. Vidyavathi, Head Mistress of Sujathapuram School, Mr. Nagaraju - Assistant Teacher at Sujathapuram along with Mr. Deepak and Mr. Adarsha from the JBF CSR team, attended the program.



MEDICAL TEST AT JBFMC KALLAHALLI
On June 3rd, JBF carried out a haemoglobin test at JBFMC in Kallahalli village. This initiative was advantageous for twenty women, enabling pregnant individuals to monitor their haemoglobin levels and understand the necessary precautions to prevent complications during pregnancy. Additionally, the JBF medical team provided guidance on the consumption of nutritious food items to enhance haemoglobin levels.

TOBACCO AWARENESS PROGRAM AT KALLAHALLI
The JBF proudly organised a Tobacco Awareness Program at JBFMC Kallahalli on June 5. During this event, Ms. Sindhura BN - JBFMC Staff Nurse, provided an informative presentation on the nature of tobacco, its detrimental effects on health, the various issues associated with tobacco consumption, and strategies for prevention.

FIRST AID KITS DISTRIBUTION AT MUSKAAN SCHOOLS
JBF provided first aid kit supplies and aprons to ten Muskaan schools located in Nanjangud. The provision of first aid is essential for initial medical treatment, contributing to the safety and awareness within the school environment.

INAUGURATION OF EDU-LAB IN DEBUR
To enhance digital literacy in the government schools of Nanjangud, the JBF has established a comprehensive Muskaan Edu - Lab at the Government Higher Primary School in Debur. The inauguration of the lab was officiated by Mr. Vivek Prakash, VP and CSR Head Jubilant Ingrevia Limited, alongside Mr. Suresh, Block Education Officer of Nanjangud.
The Edu-Lab is equipped with 15 +1 systems, all supported by educational inclusion software. It aims to facilitate the acquisition of digital learning skills among school children. The initiative received commendations from education department officials and local villagers alike. The event also featured remarks from Mr. Balaraju of the Block Resource Centre in Nanjangud, Mr. Chetan Sharma, the Cluster Resource Person for Debur, Mr. Cheluvaraju, Head Master of UGHPS Debur, Mr. Deepak S., Manager CSR, Mr. Adarsha Nidhi J., Assistant Manager CSR, Mr. Vinay Raje Urs, Field Officer CSR, and the teaching staff of UGHPS Debur.


INAUGURATION OF EDU-LAB IN KOREHUNDI
JBF inaugurated Muskaan Edu-Lab at the Government Higher Primary School in Korehundi on June 28. It was officiated by Mr. Suresh, the Block Education Officer of Nanjangud, alongside Mr. Pradeep Kumar, Senior Executive of Public Relations at Jubilant Ingrevia Limited, Nanjangud. The event also featured Dr. Sushma from Yoga Arya Vaidyashaala, Nanjangud. Other attendees included Mr. Deepak, Manager CSR, Mr. Adarsha Nidhi J, Assistant Manager CSR, Mr. Chinnaswamy TP, Headmaster of GHPS Geekhalli, Ms. Radhika BR, Headmistress of GHPS Korehundi, members of the School Development and Management Committee and ten teachers from the Muskaan school.


INAUGURATION OF ASTRONOMY LABORATORY
To enhance the quality of education in Nanjangud, the JBF has established an Astronomy laboratory at Government Adarsha Vidyalaya, Debur. The inauguration of the lab was officiated by Mr. Vivek Prakash, VP and CSR Head at Jubilant Ingrevia Limited alongside Mr. Suresh, Block Education Officer of Nanjangud.
The laboratory is equipped with various astronomy-related materials designed to facilitate students' understanding of space science. The initiative received commendations from education department officials and local villagers alike.

MUSKAAN CORE COMMITTEE MEETING AT GHPS SUJATHAPURAM
The JBF in collaboration with the Muskaan core committee successfully conducted a meeting at GHPS Sujathapuram on June 20.
Eight headmasters and headmistresses attended the meeting from Muskaan schools. The ongoing projects and projects in pipeline were discussed.

WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY
For the JBF, protection of environment is not a service; it is the duty and responsibility of each individual of the society. In order to create awareness among the schoolchildren, JBF in association with Muskaan core committee on 28 June celebrated World Environment Day at GHPS Korehundi. The saplings were planted by Mr. Suresh, Block Education Officer, Nanjangud and Mr. Pradeep Kumar NS, Senior Executive –Public Relations, Jubilant Ingrevia Limited, Nanjangud, Dr. Sushma, Yoga Arya Vaidyashaala Nanjangud.
During the program, Mr. Deepak. Manager - CSR, Mr. Adarsha Nidhi J, Assistant Manager – CSR, Mr. Chinnaswamy, Headmaster, GHPS Geekhalli and Ms. Radhika BR, Headmistress, GHPS Korehundi and SDMC members along with ten Muskaan schoolteachers were present.


DRAWING COMPETITION AT MUSKAAN SCHOOLS
In anticipation of World Environment Day, the JBF in collaboration with the Muskaan core committee organised a drawing competition across ten Muskaan schools in Nanjangud.
299 students participated in this event to raise awareness among schoolchildren.

WORLD YOGA DAY AT MUSKAAN SCHOOLS
The JBF, in collaboration with the Muskaan core committee, successfully organised a celebration of World Yoga Day at Muskaan schools. 793 students participated in the event.

SKILL DEVELOPMENT AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTRE, NANJANGUD
In 2008, the JBF established a Skill Development and Vocational Training Center in Nanjangud. This centre offers training in a variety of trades, including computer courses (basic computing, Tally, Desktop publishing, Kannada typing, Internet skills), tailoring and soap, oil and phenyl production. Last month there were 143 new admissions.

WORLD YOGA DAY CELEBRATIONS AT JBF SD&VTC
The JBF, in collaboration with Dr. Rajkumar Yoga Balaga, successfully organised World Yoga Day at the JBF Skill Development and Vocational Training Center in Nanjangud. Yoga experts, Mr. Nagaraj, Ms. Ashwini, Ms. Supriya took the session in presence of Mr. Adarsha Nidhi J, Assistant Manager - CSR, Mr. Vinay Raje Urs, Field Officer - CSR and the staff from SD&VTC. The total number of participants were 90.

MOBILE DISPENSARY PROJECT
The adage ‘Health is wealth for all’ underscores the importance of well-being in society. In alignment with its commitment to social responsibility, the Jubilant Bhatia Foundation (JBF) is offering health services at a nominal fee of Rs.20 per patient across 15 villages in the Yelahanka taluka of Bangalore, including Arebannimagala, Singahalli, Mahadevakodegehalli, Hoovinayakanahalli, Yediyuru, Bandikodegehalli, Mseeganahalli, Mylanahalli, Hunasuru, Gopalpura, Marlkunte, Bhatramarenahalli, and Kondenahalli.
The JBF mobile dispensary team visits three villages daily to deliver essential health services, and in July alone, the foundation successfully provided care to 707 patients.




HEALTH CHECK-UP FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN
JBF facilitated health check-ups for students at Kaderapanahalli Government School, Marlkunte Government School and Arebannimamgala Government School.
Dr. Bhagyaraj, the JBF Community Medical Officer, alongside Mr. Yashwanth, a staff nurse from JBF, carried out the health assessments. 61 students received these valuable services.





DRAWING COMPETITION ON WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY
On June 5, 2024, JBF hosted a World Environment Day event at the GLPS government school located in Arebannimangala, Mahadevakodigehalli, Yediyuru, Huvinayakanahalli, and Bhatramarenahalli.
The school staff organised drawing competition for the students titled ‘World Environment Day: Our Land, Our Future’.




INAUGURATION OF MUSKAAN EDU-LAB
On June 5, the inauguration of the Muskaan Edu-Lab took place at GHPS Bhatramarenahalli, an initiative led by the JBF. This project aims at enhancing students' skills and improve the quality of education. The primary stakeholders involved in the Muskaan Edu Lab project include students, teachers, parents and members of the community. The inauguration event saw special attendance by distinguished guests, Mr. Vivek Prakash - VP and CSR Head, Mr. Deepak S. - Manager CSR, Nanjangud and Bangalore, along with the teachers, students and village representatives Mr. Srinivas, School Headmaster, and Mr. Nagraju.








HP CLAP PROJECT TRAINING SESSION
The training session under HP CLAP Project was organised for the school students at GHPS Ramachandrapura.
This HP CLAP Training benefited total 352 Students.




WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY
On June 5, JBF hosted a World Environment Day event at GHPS Ramachandrapura School, attended by the school headmasters and teachers. The students participated in the program themed ‘World Environment Day: Our Land, Our Future.’ An awareness video regarding environmental issues was also shown to the students during the event.




HP CLAP PROJECT YOGA DAY SESSION
On World Yoga Day at GHPS Ramachandrapura School, the yoga sessions were organised. The session was aimed at teaching students the basic asanas and how the regular practice would help the students in long run.
