The CRDMO Nanjangud manufacturing facility has been honoured with the Golden Peacock Occupational Health & Safety Award for 2024. This prestigious recognition underscores the company's commitment to excellence in occupational health and safety standards.
As a leading pharmaceutical company, Jubilant engages in the research & development, manufacturing, distribution of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and drug intermediates. Our robust Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) management system is a testament to our dedication to integrating health and safety seamlessly with our business operations.
One of the critical practices in place is the Management of Change (MOC) procedure, applied to all new operations and equipment so that the potential hazards are identified and mitigated before they can pose a risk to employees. We have also implemented a digital tool named Sanchethana, which provides a platform for employees to report near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions. This proactive approach to safety allows for continuous monitoring and improvement of the workplace environment.
Our commitment to safety training is evident, with 100% workers receiving comprehensive training in industrial safety resulting in zero Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) over the past two years with 1,000 accident-free days.
JUBILANT PREMIER LEAGUE INAUGURATION CEREMONY
The launch ceremony of Jubilant Premier League Season 8 took place at Nanjangud on 3rd July. The keynote address was done by Dr. R. Arul – President and COO, API & CDMO along with displaying some cricketing skills as he took the field for inaugural batting. The ceremony unfolded several activities like oath taking ceremony, team captains selection, customary ritual of pigeons release and the lighting of torch followed by a friendly match and refreshments for everyone.
