3. Awareness session and selection of volunteers for ‘END-Tuberculosis’ project
The ‘END-Tuberculosis’ project is aimed at creating awareness about Tuberculosis. A brief session on what is Tuberculosis and its symptoms was organisedwhere the volunteers were selected from differentcolleges. These volunteers will be trained further to conduct surveys in the community. The survey will mainly comprise of the basic details of a household, whether or not any family member is facing any symptoms related to Tuberculosis and if yes, what are the symptoms they are facing.
A total of 100 volunteers were selected from various colleges. Selected volunteers have a keen interest in doing social activities in the community. These volunteers will be provided a training and exposure on the prevention of tuberculosis and how to interact in the community to create awareness.

1. TB Awareness at Kallahalli village
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation in association with the Government health department Nanjangud organised a Tuberculosis awareness program at the Kallahalli village anganawadi center on July 7, 2022. Mr. Hanmantharaju, Supervisor TB dept. Mysore. conducted the session. Mr.Deepak.S. Deputy manager –Jubilant Bhartia Foundation, Mr. Adarsha Nidhi J. Assistant Manager-CSR, Ms. Nandini - Anganawadi teacher were present in the program. The total no of the beneficiaries from the program were
2. Vittor health kit training program
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation in association with Vittor health science agencies conducted a virtual training for the selected volunteers on July 9, 2022. The training program was based on how to use the health kit and how to treat the patients. These trained volunteers will be serving the patients at very minimum charges.
4. Dustbin Distribution to Govt., colleges of Nanjangud taluk
Under the Swachha Bharat Abhiyaan campaign Jubilant Bhartia Foundation donated 22 (60 ltrs) dustbins to Govt., First-grade college, Nanjangud and Govt., Degree college, Hullahalli & Govt., Junior Girls college, Nanjangud.
5. Muskaan core committee Meeting
Education is an important pillar for Jubilant Bhartia Foundation. On June 24, 2022, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation organised a Muskaan core committee meeting at Government, Higher Primary School, Sujathapuram. Muskaan core committee includes the Headmaster and teachers of 10 Government schools. In the meeting, various developments in schools were discussed and requests were received from the school authorities to conduct other development works by JBF.
6. World on Wheels project
In order to encourage and support digital literacy in rural areas of Nanjangud, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation started a ‘World on Wheels’ project. Through this project, JBF is providing computer knowledge to rural primary school children and youths. In the month of May we had given training on basic computer to 529 students of five Govt., school children.
7. Skill development and Vocational training center. Nanjangud
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation established the Skill Development and Vocational Training center at Nanjangud in the year 2008. Till today, through SD&VTC, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation has provided skill-based training to more than 15,000 students,. JBF is providing basic computer, tally, DTP, Internet web designing, beautician, tailoring, kuchhu training, mehandi, soap oil and phenyl making etc training at its centre giving employment and skills to several youth.
9. Road work at Kallahalli village
On the request of the villagers of Kallahalli, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation constructed a concrete road and initiated drainage work at Kallahalli village. The concrete road work will be completed by the end of July 2022 and will be of great help to the community members.
10. Open GYM at Kallahalli village
JBF recently took up the rural development project tthrough construction of an open-gym at Kallahalli Village. The requirement was raised by the villagers of the village. This project will help the youth and senior citizens immensely towards improving their health.This will also help the organisation to maintain good relationship with the stakeholder.
11. CHRO & HR-Head official visit to Kallahalli stitching center & Skill development and vocational training center at Nanjangud
On June 23, 2022 Mrs. Rohini seth, CHRO, Jubilant Pharmova Limited and Mr. Anuj Dutt, HR-Head, Jubilant Biosys Limited, Mr. Subrahmanya, Director Human Resources, Nanjangud officially visited the Kallahalli school, uniform stitching center and skill development and vocational training center at Nanjangud.
