JUBICARE PROJECT
Post Covid-19 everyone has realised the importance of good health in our lives. Hence Jubilant Bhartia Foundation came up with the Jubicare (Health) project. It is a Telemedicine application. Through this project, the health services are delivered door-to-door to provide health services.
Last month the total no. of beneficiaries were 1007.
SKIN HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAMME
JBF firmly believes that healthy mind creates a Healthy society. JBF organised skin health awareness at a School in Debur village on 7th March. During the program, Dr. Ashik C. Kumar - Community Medical Officer, JBF and Ms. Sindhura BN Staff Nurse – JBF, explained the various types of skin diseases, their causes, symptoms and their precautions. During the programme, Dr. Cheluvaraju - Head Master Upgraded Govt., Higher Primary School Debur, Mr. Deepak. S – Manager, JBF, Mr. Adarsha Nidhi J, Assistant Manager – JBF, Ms. Shivamma, Mr. Ravi Kumar and other schoolteachers were also present. Total 77 students from 18 villages benefited from this programme.
ORAL HYGIENE HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAM AT SD&VTCE
On the occasion of World Oral Health day on 20th of March JBF organised oral hygiene health awareness program at JBF Skill Development and Vocational Training Centre at Nanjangud. The program focused on the types, symptoms and precautions. During the program Dr. Prasad, Regional Associate Director – Health Department Mysore. Dr. Anitha, Dentist - Govt., Hospital Nanjangud, Dr. Shivaprasad, Administrator Government Hospital Nanjangud, Mr. Sajjan Rao Bobade, Taluka Health Education Officer, Taluk Health Dept Nanjangud, Mr. YadhuGirish, Senior Health Co-ordinator, Taluka Health Dept. Nanjangud, Dr. Avinash - Dentist, Govt. Hospital, Nanjangud, Mr. Deepak. S Manager – JBF and SD&VTC staff were present in the program. There were total 60 no. of participants.
EDUCATION
EDULAB PROJECT
JBF always believes that education has the power to bring social change in the society so it always puts maximum focus towards the development of this sector. During the FY 2023-24, JBF established 7 Edulab in Nanjangud (Type B2 School, Type C5 School). This will improve the infrastructure and help the Government School children in having access to the Digital Literacy and Knowledge.
SKILL DEVELOPMENT & VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTRE, NANJANGUD
In 2008, JBF started Skill Development and Vocational Training Center at Nanjangud to provide training in various streams like Computer Courses (basic, Tally, DTP, Kannada Typing, and Internet), Tailoring, Kuchhu, Soap Oil, Phenyl training etc. Last month there were 154 admissions.
FACILITATION PROGRAM FOR WOMEN ACHIEVERS ON THE EVE OF WOMEN’S DAY
JBF Skill Development and Vocational Training Centre has trained more than 15000 Candidates in last 15 years in various courses - Basic computer, Tally, DTP, Tailoring etc. To appreciate the ex-students who are now self-employed and earning a respected income in various fields, a felicitation ceremony was organised for 5 women on the eve of International Women’s Day. Mrs. Divya. H. V, Senior Scientist and Head, ICAR JSS Krishi Vigyan Kendra Suttur, Mrs. Indrani K. N, Assistant Post Master, Nanjangud, Mr. Deepak. S – Manager, JBF, Mr. Adarsha Nidhi J - Assistant Manager – JBF, Mr. Vinay Raje Urs - Field Staff, JBF and many SD&VTC staff participated in this the program. There were prize distribution too for various competition winners.
RURAL DEVELOPMENT
BHOOMI POOJA FOR ROAD AND DRAINAGE WORK
JBF took up the road construction and drainage work of Kallahalli Village. The Bhoomi Pooja was conducted on 25th March with noted presence of Kallahalli Village leaders Mr. Suresh Urs, Mr. Javarnayaka, Mr. Javarashetty, Mr. Shiva Shankar, Mr. Chandrashekar, Mr. Lingaraju , Mr. Ravi, Mr. Krishna Raje Urs, Mr.Kalaswamy, Mr. Siddaraju, Mr. Ganganayaka, Mr. Govinde Raje Urs, Mr. Kumar Raje Urs.
RO WATER PLANT AT KATHWADIPURA AND CHAMALAPURADAHUNDI VILLAGE
