World On Wheels (WOW) project
In order to encourage and support digital Literacy at rural areas of Nanjangud, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation has started World on Wheels project. Through this project we are providing computer knowledge to rural primary school children and youths. In the month of October, we had given training on basic computer to 45 students of Govt., Degree College, Nanjangud.


Hand Wash Day - An Awareness Program
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation is organising health awareness camp in surrounding villages of its plant location. In the month of October JBF has organised world hand wash day at govt., HPS Geekhalli on 27th October 2023. During the program JBFMC team explained importance of hand wash and types of hand wash to the school children. During the awareness program Dr. Tejas Chandra, Community medical officer –JBF, Mrs. Sindhura BN, staff nurse –JBF. Mr. Chinnaswamy TP, Head master of GHPS Geekhalli. Mr. Deepak. S Manager- Jubilant Bhartia Foundation, Mr. Vinay Raje urs, Field officer-CSR, school teachers and 35 students were present.

On the occasion of World Health Day, JBF has organised world hand wash day at JBFMC Kallahalli on 27th October 2023. During the program JBFMC team has explained importance of hand wash and types of hand wash to the school children. During the awareness program Dr Tejas Chandra, Community medical officer –JBF, Mrs. Sindhura BN, staff nurse was present – total 20 Villagers were benefited from this program.



Jubicare
In order to provide better health facility to rural villages of Nanjangud, JBF has started JBF Medical centre at Kallahalli and Debur village. 2 PHCs are providing health services to surrounding villages. In the Month of October JBF has provided health services to 1079 patients.


Skill Development and Vocational Training Centre
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation has established skill development and vocational training center at Nanjangud in the year 2008. Till today through SD & VTC, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation has provided skill based training to more than 15000 students, In the SD&VTC, JBF is providing basic computer, tally, DTP, internet, beautician, tailoring, ary work, mehndi, soap oil and phenyl making, summer camp etc. In month of September, total admissions are 113.




Social Security Program by Postal Department
In order to create awareness related to social security schemes by Govt of India, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation in association with postal dept. of Nanjangud organised social security schemes awareness program on 12th October at JBF SD&VTC Nanjangud. The program was mainly focused on social security schemes like sandhya suraksha yojana, sukanya samrudhi scheme, msaman pramanpatra yojana, public provident Fund (PPF), postal life insurance and its benefits, adhaar card registration and correction and other benefits. During the program Mr. Mahadevappa Marketing Executive, Postal Dept, Nanjangud. Mrs. Renukamba, office assistant, Postal Dept., Nanjangud, Mrs.Chandrakala saving bank promoter of Post office Nanjangud, JBF SD&VTC Staff and 63 candidates participated in the program.

Intra-School Quiz Competition
An intra-school quiz competition was been organised at Mahatma Gandhi Senior Secondary School, Singhpur. During the event, a total of 45 students from Class 9th to 12th was been participated. This competition was mainly organised with the aim of increasing General Awareness among the students.


Sponsoring the District Level Kho-Kho Competition
To promote sports among the rural children, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation has sponsored the Girls and Boys Kho-Kho team for the District Level Kho-Kho tournament held at Kapasan, Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. These students were representing Chittorgarh. The jerseys were distributed in the presence of Chief Block Education Officer, Kapasan, Chittorgarh.


Learning Retreat of Muskaan Fellows under Khusiyon ki Pathashala
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation organised a three-day Learning Retreat for the 15 Muskaan Fellows under the Khusiyon Ki Pathashala Initiative. The Muskaan Fellows were oriented on the Youth Development Program, get trained on their aspiration, their roles in KKP, values (Love, Respect, Gratitude, Kindness, Humility).


Poshan Maah - Nutrition Awareness Session for Pregnant Ladies and Mothers
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation has organise a Nutrition Awareness Session for Mothers and Pregnant Women at Kodiakheri village. They were educated on proper diet plans, lifestyle modifications, and the harms of consuming junk food. Awareness on Vitamins (D, B, A and C) and minerals were also given. A total of 38 women from Kodiakheri village participated in the event.
