Inauguration of Chikkainachatra Hobli level sports competition:
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation supported the Chikkayanachatra Hobli level sports event and gave prizes to the winners in various categories. For the inauguration program Mrs. Syeda Misbah Razak Manager, Mrs. Anitha A, Mr. Deepak. S, Mr. Adarsha Nidhi J, Mr. Vinay Raje Urs were present from the Jubilant team among other village leaders, education dept. officials and SDMC Members during the program.






Inauguration of Kasaba Hobli level sports competition:
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation sponsored the prizes for Kasaba hobli higher primary school sports event. For the inauguration program. Mr. Deepak, Mr. Adarsha Nidhi J, Mr. Vinay Raje Urs from Jubilant team and other village leaders, education dept. officials and SDMC members were present during the program.
In each Hobli level sports event around 35 to 40 Govt., school children participated and a total of 624 students won prizes.




Celebration of Teachers day at Skill Development & Vocational Training Centre
Every profession in the world has its foundation in education. In order to honour the teachers for their service, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation celebrated teacher’s day on 09th of September 2023 at Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Skill Development and Vocational Training Centre at Nanjangud. During the program Mr. A.T Shivalingaiah, block education officer, Nanjangud, Mr. Mallikarjun, director –mid day meals dept., Nanjangud. Mr. Shiva kumar, director, physical education dept., Nanjangud, Dr. Chetan Sharma, cluster resource person, Nanjangud. Mr. Deepak S, Mr. Adarsha Nidhi J and Mr. Vinay Raje Urs, from Jubilant Team were present apart from Mr. Chinnaswamy, Head Master, GHPS Geekhalli & Mrs.Radhika BR, Head Mistress, HPS Korehundi. During the program all Muskaan school head masters and teachers, with a total of around 45 teachers were honoured. Entertainment and games were also conducted apart from prize distribution.









World On Wheels (WOW) project.
To support digital literacy in rural government schools of Nanjangud. Jubilant Bhartia Foundation has started World On Wheels project at Nanjangud taluk. Through these project we have covered around 11 govt. school. Total no of Student Benefitted is 619.




JUBICARE
In order to provide better health facility to rural villages of Nanjangud, JBF has started JBF Medical centre at Kallahalli and Debur village. These 2 PHCs are providing health services to surrounding villages. in the month of Sept JBF has provided health services to 1019 patients.




Awareness on Sahi Poshan Desh Roshan
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation has been conducting a health awareness program at its manufacturing facility with the theme of Sahi Poshan–desh roshan. The program was conducted at the Kallahalli and Debur village. The awareness program was headed by Dr. Tejas Chandra, Community Medical officer-JBF, Mrs. Sindhura BN, Staff nurse –JBF.
During the program the following topics were discussed,
- What is Nutrition?
- Types of Nutrition required for the good Health.
- Upto 2 years’ breast feeding is important for the Babies.
- cleanliness is important in order to avoid diarhea.
Information about Diarrhea, Iron deficiency and calcium deficiency was also given which is commonly seen in children below 5 years of age. There were a total of 42 beneficiaries in this program.


Skill development and Vocational Training center at Nanjangud
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation has established a Skill Development and Vocational Training Center (SD & VTC) at Nanjangud in the year 2008. Till today through SD & VTC by Jubilant Bhartia Foundation has provided various skill based trainings to more than 15000 students. JBF provides basic computer, tally, DTP, Internet, beautician, tailoring, ary work, mehndi, soap oil and phenyl making etc training programs. The centre saw 116 admissions during the month of September 2023.

Basic Computer Awareness Training in HP WOW Bus
HP WOW Bus project caters to children, youth and other needy section of the society by providing digital literacy. In Roorkee currently we are conducting ongoing basic Computer Awareness in Chappur, a village near Jubilant plant in Roorkee to all the School students, college students and other young people from the community. We have targeted 1 government school in Chappur village and 1 adult digital literacy batch is also running. Each batch undergoes a 1-month training workshop to increase Computer Awareness. HP WOW bus also emphasizes on inclusion of rural women into these computer classes to promote women empowerment. In the month of September 2023 a total of 47 students in 2 batches were benefitted from this training.

Poshan Mahh Awareness event in Geen Saidpur village, Roorkee
On 29th October 2023, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation celebrated Poshan Mahh by conducting an awareness session on importance of Nutrition/Poshan in our daily lifestyle. 25 individuals were identified from the Gee Saidpur village belonging to the BPL category and were provided nutritional kit.

Mobile Dispensary Project
Health is wealth for all! As a social responsible organization Jubilant Bhatia Foundation, is providing health services and charging Rs.20 per patient for 15 villages (Arebannimagala, Kallahalli, Singahalli, Mahadevakodegehalli, Hoovinayakanahalli, Yediyuru, Bandikodegehalli, BK Palya, Bailanahalli, Mylanahalli, Kaderapanahalli, Hunasuru, Gopalpura, Maralkunte and Manchapanahalli villages). JBF mobile dispensary team is providing health services to 3 villages per day. Total 908 patients were benefitted in the month of Sep.


School Health Camp:
JBF has conducted school children medical checkup camp in Kaderapanahalli, Bandikodigehalli, & Boilahalli Govt., school. Total 32 students were benefited.


Organized Conjunctivitis Awareness program.
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation organized health awareness session on conjunctivitis in Baturmarenahalli village. This awareness session was addressed by Dr. Bhagyaraj community medical officer and Mr. Yashwanth- JBF Staff nurse. Totally 15 villagers attended the awareness program.



Health camp at Bandikodiegehalli & Boilahalli school.
On 18/9/2023 Jubilant Bhartia Foundation in association with Samarthanam Trust, organized school health check-up camp at Bandikodigehalli and Boilahalli Govt school. In the above said camp Dr. Bhagyaraj, community medical officer-JBF and Mr. Yashwanth JBF -Staff Nurse were present. Total 73 students were benefited.


Inauguration of Muskaan Kitaab Ghar Project
On 8/9/2023 Jubilant Bhartia Foundation has organized the Inauguration of “Muskaan Kitaab Ghar” project at GHPS Bagaluru.
The project was inaugurated by Mr. Suresh Heblikar, senior actor and film director, Mr. Nagaraj, cluster resource person, Head Master (HM), Teachers. School children were presented during the program.





Supported Parthibha Karanji event.
On the request of block education dept, JBF supported the Prthiba Karanji cultural event at Bengaluru Maralukunte cluster level. The event was organized on 08/09/2023 at GHPS Bagaluru. The project was officially inaugurated by Mr. Suresh Heblikar, senior actor and film director, Mr. Nagaraj, cluster resource person, head master, teachers, SDMC members, village leaders and 700 School children were present during the program. 400 students have won the competition.





Theme Based Drawing competition:
As per annual Muskaan calendar activity Jubilant Bhartia Foundation has organized theme based drawing competition at ‘GLPS Arebannimangala. Total 12 students participated in this activity.

27th State Level Bhamasah Award 2023:
For its continued efforts in the field of education, Hindustan Zinc bagged the 27th Bhamasah Award on 11 September 2023 at a ceremony held in Birla Auditorium, Jaipur, Rajasthan. The Bhamasah Award is a state-level award presented for excellent contributions to the field of education. The Jubilant Bhartia Foundation is awarded as “Shiksha Bhusan” award. The event was attended by the Education Minister – Mr. B.D. Kalla and Secretary & Commissioner at Government of Rajasthan – Mr. Naveen Jain, and Director, Panchayati Raj – Mr. Kaana Ram.


Sponsoring the State Level and Block Level Sports:
To promote sports among the rural children, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation has sponsored the Girls and Boys volley ball team for the State Level Volley Ball tournament held at Kota, Rajasthan. These students were representing Chittorgarh. The jerseys were distributed in the presence of Additional District Education Officer – Primary, Chittorgarh.
JBF also sponsored the Block Level Government Primary School Competition consist of Kho-Kho, 100m race, 4*100 relay race, long jump, gymnastic and kabaddi held at Government Primary School, Gopalpura, Chittorgarh (Raj.) on 29th and 30th September 2023.




Community Interface Meeting 2023-24:
JBF had organised its first Community Interface Meeting at Purohito Ka Savta, Chittorgarh where 62 stakeholders from the local community participated. The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Badri Lal Jat – Ex MLA, SDM – Kapasan; Mrs. Krishna Chasta – CDEO, Chittorgarh; Mrs. Kalpana Sharma – DEO (Sec.), Chittorgarh along with the dignitaries of JACPL. The theme of the community interface meeting was to highlight the perspective over community development and safety in front of its primary stakeholders.


Renovation of six Anganwadi Centers:
To support the rural child care centers (Anganwadi), renovation work has been done in the six anganwadis which were in bad condition. Also, wall paintings (Hindi and English alphabet, body parts, names of fruits and vegetables, etc.) for interactive learning have been done in these anganwadis. Apart from that ceiling fans and mattresses have also been provided to these anganwadis by Jubilant Bhartia Foundation.
