Basic Computer Awareness Training in HP WOW Bus
HP WOW Bus project caters to children, youth and other needy sections of society by providing digital literacy. In Roorkee, digital education is provided by conducting essential computer awareness in Gee, a village near Jubilant Generics’s plant in Roorkee. Each batch undergoes a one-month training workshop to increase computer awareness. In the month of July 2022, a total of 37 students in two batches, out of which 21 females and 17 males were registered.

Health Survey for Health Aarogya project in 15 villages, Roorkee
In July 2022, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation conducted surveys in 15 villages for the Health Aarogya project in Roorkee. The survey comprised of various questions covering the demographic, health and basic amenities information. This survey will help us to understand the overview of the basic infrastructure facilities available in the village. Using the survey findings, we may contribute to the health facilities more effectively.


Health Support in Kawad festival, Roorkee
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation firmly believes that ‘Healthcare is a civil right’ and it should be available & accessible to all. Kanwad festival was organised in the month of July and JBF had received a request from the Chief Medical Officer, Haridwar seeking for healthcare support for the public participating in Kawad celebration. In the month of July 2022, Team JBF received a request from Chief Medical Officer Haridwar for healthcare support for those participating in Kanwad Festival. JBF deployed its Health Aarogya ambulance in Manglaur, Roorkee road during the festival for 24 hours and provided first-aid assistance to 130 (Kanwad Bholes) patients and provided transportation facility to 20 severely injured Kanwadias by admitting them to Roorkee Government Hospital.
It was also Jubilant Bhartia Foundation’s honour to receive the Certificate of Appreciation for our social work and support in providing healthcare services.


Plantation Drive in Gee Makkhanpur village, Roorkee
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation organised a plantation drive in the Government School of Makkhanpur village. The school children were given a brief awareness on the importance of plants and how they can contribute to the wellness of the overall environment.
The children then planted ~20 saplings in their school with the pledge that they would take care of these saplings until they could play under their shade.

Health Check-up Camps in 15 villages in Roorkee
The Health Aarogya project by LIC-Housing Finance in Partnership with Jubilant Bhartia Foundation provides mobile healthcare services in 15 villages in the vicinity of our Roorkee facility. A medical team comprises of Doctors and Pharmacists equipped with ambulance, organised health check-ups in these villages. Generic medicines were also given to the patients in need.
