MUSKAAN EDULAB TRAINING PROGRAM
JBF in partnership with Educational Initiatives (EI), an ed-tech company, conducted a three-day Muskaan Edulab Fellow Training in Gajraula from June 10-12. A total of 14 fellows and 11 JBF co-ordinators attended the training program from various locations. The training focused on introducing the fellows to the company, CSR initiatives of Jubilant Bhartia Foundation, the role of digitisation in education and their specific roles in the project. It also included leadership training, energizer activities and hands-on sessions such as a live demo of Mindspark software, practical sessions on the installation and technical aspects of the offline server, and troubleshooting procedures.
Mr. Sunil Dixit, the PR Director from Jubilant Ingrevia Limited, Gajraula, attended the training program and addressed all JBF coordinators and fellows. He also felicitated the team members from Educational Initiatives (EI) for conducting the training.

HEALTH
JUBICARE PROJECT
JBF started the Medical centre at Kallahalli and Debur village to provide better health facilities to Rural villages of Nanjangud and the surrounding villages. In May 1243 patients were benefitted under this project.
MALARIA AWARENESS SESSION
As a part of monthly health awareness program, JBF conducted Malaria awareness session at JBF medical centre Kallahalli on May 29 and 31. Mr. Ashik Kumar - Community Medical Officer and Mrs. Sindhura BN, Staff Nurse explained the causes of Malaria disease, its symptoms and prevention. 69 villagers got educated from this awareness program.
ANAEMIA SCREENING TEST AT JBFMC KALLAHALLI
JBF conducted anaemia-screening test (Haemoglobin test) of 69 pregnant women along with other females on 29th and 31st of May to know their Haemoglobin level and the precautionary measures they can take to avoid problems during their pregnancy. The JBF medical team also suggested taking nutritional food items to increase their Haemoglobin level.
EDUCATION
EDULAB PROJECT AT NANJANGUD
JBF believes education is the only way to bring social change in the society which is evident through our several initiatives promoting education. JBF in association with Innovexa Pvt. Ltd. and Education Inclusion Pvt. Ltd. has established 8 Edulabs (Computer Labs) in Nanjangud taluka which will of great help to the rural Government School children to get access to digital learning.
NALIKALLI CLASS ROOMS DRAWING WORK AT MUSKAAN SCHOOLS
‘Muskaan’ means Smile and to bring smile on the faces of rural schoolchildren, JBF started Muskaan Project in 10 Muskaan Schools at Nanjangud taluka. After the request from the Muskaan core committee, JBF commissioned painting work in the Nalikalli Class rooms (learn with fun) at three schools. This will give a vibrant atmosphere to the students and make learning joyful.
MUSKAAN FELLOWSHIP SESSION
JBF started Muskaan fellowship project at Nanjangud to prepare the youth today so that they can become a responsible citizens tomorrow. For the batch of 2024-25, JBF conducted introduction session on Muskaan Fellowship Project at JBF SD&VTC. 26 students attended the session and benefitted from the same.
SKILL DEVELOPMENT & VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTRE, NANJANGUD
In 2008, JBF started Skill Development and Vocational Training center at Nanjangud. In this training center the candidates are enrolled in various professional courses like computer knowledge (Tally, DTP, Kannada typing, Internet etc.), Tailoring, Kuchhu, Soap Oil and Phenyl making etc. There were 148 enrollments in the month of May 2024.
RURAL DEVELOPMENT
CONSTRUCTION OF RO WATER PLANT AT KATHWADIPURA AND CHAMALAPURADAHUNDI
JBF constructed two RO water plant at Kathwadipura and Chamalapurahundi villages after receiving requests from the local residents. This has enabled the villagers to consume fresh water without any interruption.
