STORY TELLING BY SENIOR CITIZENS

As a part of Muskaan initiative, JBF organised story telling by senior citizens in 10 Muskaan Schools of Nanjangud. The main objective was to develop bonding of elderly citizens of the viillage with the school children through story-telling sessions. It definitely helped the young minds to get perspectives of the elder people and learn the importance of love, respect, values in their life.

CELEBRATION OF 75TH REPUBLIC DAY

JBF in association with Muskaan Core Committee, successfully celebrated 75th Indian republic Day at 10 Schools. On this special occasion JBF distributed 65 Pratibha Puraskar award to meritorious student and 5 for achievement in sports at the district level along with 260 prizes for cultural activity winners.

Mr. Vinod Jain, Mr. Srinivas, Mr. Deepak. S, Mr. Chandrashekar, Mr. Adarsha Nidhi J, Mr. Umesh, Mr. Vinay Raje Urs, Mr. Siddaraju etc. were present during the ceremony.

CULTURAL ACTIVITY AT MUSKAAN SCHOOLS

JBF on the occasion of 75th Republic day organised cultural competition (Fancy dress, singing and Dancing competition) at 10 Muskaan Schools. This competition was held to explore the hidden talents of the children.

SENIOR CITIZEN FELICITATION PROGRAM AT GHPS CHAMLAPURAHUNDI

JBF in association with Muskaan core committee organised Senior Citizens Felicitation Program at GHPS Chamlapurahundi. Total 8 Sr. Citizens were honoured during the program.

INAUGURATION OF MUSKAAN SCIENCE LAB & MUSKAAN KITAAB GHAR AT GHPS CHAMLAPURAHUNDI.

JBF promotes quality education at the grassroots level and carrying forward such sector. It has established Muskaan Science Labs and Muskaan Libraries at GHPS Chamlapurahundi School. The inauguration event was organised on 31st January 2024.

INAUGURATION OF MUSKAAN SCIENCE LAB AT UPGRADED GOVERNMENT HIGHER PRIMARY SCHOOL DEBUR

Jubilant Bhartia Foundation, under its Muskaan Vigyanshala project, has established full-fledged science labs in UGHPS Debur. Its inauguration was done on 7th Feb 2024. The program was inaugurated by Mr.A.T Shivalingaiah, Block Education Officer, Nanjangud. INAUGURATION OF MUSKAAN SCIENCE LAB AT UPGRADED GOVERNMENT HIGHER PRIMARY SCHOOL KOREHUNDI

Jubilant Bhartia Foundation under its Muskaan Vigyanshala project has established full-fledged Muskaan science labs at GHPS Korehundi, the lab inauguration was conducted on 14th Feb 2024. The lab was inaugurated by Mr. Ravikumar Senior Manager, HR Dept. Jubilant Pharmova limited, Nanjangud and Mr. Pradeep Kumar, Senior executive, Public relation, Jubilant Ingrevia Limited, during the program Mr.A.T Shivalingaiah ,Block Education Officer, Nanjangud taluk,Mr.Raghavendra, ECO-Nanjangud, Mr. Siddaraju, Corporater Nanjangud Municipality and Mr.Shankrappa,SDMC, President ,Ms.Nagalakshmi, Cluster Resource Person,Nanajangud. Mr. Doreswamy, Block Resource Person, Mr. Madhukumar Block Resource Person, Mr. Basavaraju SDMC President, Mr. Mahadevanna, Village leader Korehundi and school teachers were present during the program.

The stage program was officially inaugurated with the science experiments and the Govt officials praised the work done by Jubilant Bhartia Foundation in the field of Education Sector Development.

SCHOOL ANNUAL DAY AT GHPS KALLAHALLI

Jubilant Bhartia Foundation under its Muskaan project is supporting 10 government schools at Nanjangud. As a part of it, JBF organized and supported school day program at GHPS Kallahalli on 16th February 2024. The program was officially inaugurated by Mr. A.T Shivalingaiah, Block Education officer Nanjangud and Mr. Subrahmanya Director –HR dept, Jubilant Pharmova limited Nanjangud inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp. Jubilant Bhartia Foundation under its Muskaan Vigyanshala project, JBF has established a full-fledged lab in government higher primary school, Sujathapuram. Jubilant Bhartia Foundation under its Muskaan Vigyanshala project has established model science lab at GHPS Nagamma Girls High school Nanjangud on 16th February 2024. The Science lab was Inaugurated by Mr. A.T Shivalingaiah, Block education officer, Nanjangud and Mr. Subrahmanya, A, Director –HR dept Jubilant Pharmova limited Nanjangud during the program Mr. Prithesh singh Bhatia, Associate director –HR dept. ,Jubilant Biosys limited. CELEBRATION OF WORLD SCIENCE DAY AT GHPS SUJATHAPURAM

On the occasion of World Science Day JBF in association with Muskaan committee organized celebration of World Science day at GHPS Sujathapuram. On the same occasion JBF also conducted science model exhibition and competition from 8 Muskaan schools and distributed medals, trophy and, certificate for the winners. HEALTH

JUBICARE PROJECT

During Covid - 19, JBF launched the Jubicare which is a Tele-medicine app. Through this project, JBF is providing health services like door delivery of medicines to patient’s house with safety measures. In the month of January total no of beneficiaries were 1040.

JUBICARE Project provided health services like door delivery of medicines to 1048 patients in the month of February.

NUTRITION AWARENESS PROGRAM

In order to remove malnourishment and create awareness among the society JBF started awareness program at Nanjangud. During the session, JBF representatives explain the importance of balanced diet. They also give the important information to women and mothers on how to prepare nutrition food, how to use food grains etc.

It is important to make people aware about the benefits of good nutrition among the general public, especially in rural areas. There is also a need to address the issue of food insecurity and to provide people with the resources they need to access healthy food.

JBF is working towards the improvement of health and create a better and healthy future for all. To make this program a success, JBF engages college youths as interns in this program and they act as a primary driver of program. Majorly, the children, mothers & communities will be benefitting from this awareness program. Last month JBF conducted awareness session at 3 schools & anganawadi centers covering 871 people.

MENSTRUAL HYGIENE PROGRAM AT JBF SD&VTC

JBF organised menstrual hygiene program at the Skill Development and Vocational Training Center at Nanjangud. During the session Ms. Rachana and Mr. Siddhartha explained about menstrual cycle and use of menstrual cups, precautions to be taken during the time of menstruation etc. During the program Mr. Deepak, Manager – CSR, Dr Tejas Chandra - Community Medical Officer, JBF , Ms Sindhura - Staff Nurse, JBF , SD&VTC staff and 91 students were present in the program.

SKILL DEVELOPMENT & VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTRE, NANJANGUD

In the year 2008, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation started Skill Development and Vocational Training Centre at Nanjangud. Through this training center the candidates are trained for various skills trades like basic computer courses, Tally, DTP, Kannada typing, Internet, Tailoring, Kuchhu, Soap oil phenyl training etc. In January, there were 101 admissions.

There were 145 admissions in the month of February 2024.
